Most businesses have photos.
Fewer have photos that earn their keep.
What I actually do
The difference is someone in the room asking what the picture is for before they press anything. That's the job. Corporate, product, interiors and the people who work in them — for independents, agencies and national brands. That's the job. I shoot food and drink, products, interiors and the people who work in them — for independents, agencies and national brands across Norfolk and Suffolk.

What I shoot
Four things. They feed each other.
-
Headshots that don't look like ID photos. Team portraits, workplace and culture libraries, brand campaigns. For companies who've noticed their website looks like everyone else's.
-
E-commerce, packaging, styled sets. Clean and catalogue-ready, or lit hard with real shadow. Shot in the studio or on location with your maker's hands in frame.
-
On the marsh, in the woods, at your kitchen table. No matching outfits, no forced grins. An hour outside, and the good ones happen in the gaps.
-
Hospitality, commercial interiors, architecture and holiday lets. Rooms photographed for how they feel to stand in, not just how wide they are.

Three things worth knowing
-
If the brief needs a stylist, or two days, or a different photographer entirely, you'll hear it before you book. Costs me the work. Saves you more.
-
Commercial shoots get resented internally because they stop everyone working. I shoot around a live kitchen, a live shop floor, a live office. Nobody has to perform.
-
Not a reveal in three weeks. On the day, on the back of the camera, while there's still time to change something.

No meeting required.
Tell me what you need, roughly when, and where the images are going. Commercial work is quoted per brief, because a headshot morning and a three-day campaign aren't the same job and pricing them as though they were serves nobody. Family sessions have a published price: from £100 for 60 minutes and 50+ edited images.
THE STUDIO
A proper space in South Norfolk. Mine, and I'm in it.
Controlled light, no clock on the wall, no hire desk chasing you out at five. Product and food work happens here where nothing can go wrong. Everything else happens wherever the work actually is.
Post the products over. Most people do.

Hello. I'm Aaron. Let me be straight with you.
10 years of capturing and running a succesful wedding photography business (magpie magpie photography) has taught me that the details matter when telling a story and this is where Salt and Flnt has been born.
So a little bit about me..
|I've got ADHD and why is this important because on any commercial or family shoot these are the things that make it or break it and ultimately the things you're paying for.
I notice everything. The label turned four degrees off. The thumbprint on the glass that'll cost you an hour in retouching. The fire extinguisher growing out of your MD's head. The cable nobody clocked. The reflection of me in the fridge door. I see them before the shutter, not three weeks later when the packaging is at the printers.
You get the other side of it too. I will also notice that one chair is out of line and it will quietly bother me until it's fixed. That's the deal. It's the same wiring.
DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
