The studio sits within our home in the beautiful village of Denton, twenty minutes south of Norwich and just over the Suffolk border.

It exists because some work is better when nothing is left to chance. No waiting on cloud. No apologising for a boardroom's strip lighting. Product on a bench, a portrait against painted board, a set built over two days and taken apart on the third — all of it easier in a room where I control every variable and nobody's clock is running.

It isn't a hire space. It's my workshop, and it's where your shoot happens if the shoot belongs indoors.

When we'd use it

• Product and still life — almost always. Send the items or drop them off, and I'll shoot them here.

• Headshots — when you'd rather your team came to me than have me take over a meeting room for a day.

• Portraits — actors, authors, anyone who needs a proper lit portrait rather than a snap by a window.

• Family sessions — occasionally, when the weather is genuinely against us or a newborn is happier somewhere warm.

Everything else — workplace, interiors, family on the marsh — happens where it lives. The studio is a tool, not a default.
